Shoot Week Ground Rush - Day 1

I usually write a shoot week blog on my personal account - not the Twist & Shout Account - but in this age of integration and the blurring of personal and professional goals and crusades, I thought i'd spread the love here on this particular shoot.

And Love there is - in spades. We are blessed with two excellent leads (yes - we got our favourite auditionees).  I also have my A team crew, which make things fun, and also quick, thanks to the telepathy that evolves over twenty years of shooting with the same team, on and off.

There were some genuine moments of real comedy gold happening today - which bodes very well for the series.  We ran out of "FRAGILE" packing tape though, (three rolls! And not a parcel packed!) and also had to steal two employees to use as extras - all in a days work.

We were laughing at the performances by 10am - a very good sign - and testament to the fact that we were able to rehearse last night.  I'll try to keep you posted every day this week. I can't wait to see this edited. All I can say is that I bless our lovely clients for letting me do this for a living.  I have the best job in the world.
